It’s Halloween time…can’t think of a better time to pick up one of Napkin Art’s über limited edition ‘Classic Monsters’ silk screen print sets!
Been thinking about making a wall calendar for some time now, and could’t really land on a design I wanted. So, after some thought I designed myself an old school ‘Betty Page’ monthly tear-away calendar. Obviously, it says 1957 on it, but I discovered that the same calendar dates apply for 2013. Thought it would be really cool to produce a vintage style calendar that can actually be used and not just as decoration.
This one is for the boys, or Betty fans in general, but also thinking about making a space themed calendar for the family friendly types. Still fits in with my 1950s theme.
Can’t wait to get this on the print table soon. Will be available in a very small, limited edition, so start salivating…
Andrew Warhola had soup cans. I have oil cans. New silk screen art print hitting the tables soon. Measures 16” x 20”, three color silk screen on acid-free heavyweight paper. Still pondering over the print run. Will be available thru Jonathon Kimbrell Fine Art in the coming weeks…might even do a few originals on canvas, too.
Things are really heating up in the studio now…
There have been several musicians and artists over the years that have made an enormous impact on my life, and probably none of them has had a greater impact than Woody Guthrie. In honor of Guthrie’s 100th Birthday I’m releasing this commemorative silk screen art print in a small, limited edition run. Three color print on 12” x 19” white cover stock. Print releases July 14th (Guthrie’s birthdate) and will come signed and numbered. Stay tuned to the studio’s Etsy shop for release details…

Two color silk screen on French Sand Speckletone 80lb cover, 16” x 24”, S/N edition of 30.
Being a creative person is a funny and difficult thing sometimes. Just when you think you’ve been scraping the the bottom of the barrel (so to speak) long enough, something happens to get the creative juices flowing again.
Beginning in January 2012 I’ll be starting a new series of hand made prints called “Studio Select.” This series will consist of larger, extremely limited edition hand made prints that will be much different from my usual gig posters and art prints. First on the books is this “Adult Stories II” print, which will measure 18” x 24” and be limited to an edition of only 10. I approach this series of prints from a gallery perspective in hopes to offer larger and more fine art oriented work from my studio. Each print in the series will come signed and embossed with the studio’s seal, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
As I become more serious about my future as an artist I, in turn, am becoming more serious about the work I produce and offer to collectors and galleries. I think this “Studio Select” series of prints is a step in the right direction. The goal is to release a new “Studio Select” print every month or two as ideas come together.
Release and ordering info will be available for the “Adult Stories II” print very soon, so please stay tuned.
