Being a creative person is a funny and difficult thing sometimes. Just when you think you’ve been scraping the the bottom of the barrel (so to speak) long enough, something happens to get the creative juices flowing again.
Beginning in January 2012 I’ll be starting a new series of hand made prints called “Studio Select.” This series will consist of larger, extremely limited edition hand made prints that will be much different from my usual gig posters and art prints. First on the books is this “Adult Stories II” print, which will measure 18” x 24” and be limited to an edition of only 10. I approach this series of prints from a gallery perspective in hopes to offer larger and more fine art oriented work from my studio. Each print in the series will come signed and embossed with the studio’s seal, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
As I become more serious about my future as an artist I, in turn, am becoming more serious about the work I produce and offer to collectors and galleries. I think this “Studio Select” series of prints is a step in the right direction. The goal is to release a new “Studio Select” print every month or two as ideas come together.
Release and ordering info will be available for the “Adult Stories II” print very soon, so please stay tuned.
