Never tried printing on vinyl records myself, but I would assume it wouldn’t be much different than printing on paper or cardboard. I’d at least make sure your ink is fairly thick with decent viscosity. If the ink is too thin you’ll more than likely not get a good print. Try Jacquard water based inks. It’ll bond well to the vinyl, though let the ink dry thoroughly for 24 hours before you overprint or add additional media. Using a fan will speed the drying process up substantially. Hope that helps.
