More hand printed Polyphonic Spree LP covers, courtesy of Napkin Art Studios. Split fountain colors. The band’s “Psychphonic” album will be available at the merch booth while on tour from 8/15-8/31/2014, and available online thereafter. http://thepolyphonicspree.com

We got to swipe a few labels of our first, forthcoming record before it goes to press. So can’t wait to release this baby soon!!!

Excited to show off the packaging for our record label’s forthcoming Lightnin’ Hopkins 7” reissue. We were fortunate enough to be able to license this great image of Hopkins from famed music photographer, Jan Persson, to silk screen on our cover.

These will be hand printed and numbered in a limited edition of 300 copies. Available for pre-order at http://classicwaxxx.storenvy.com

Gotta make room for all the new art this fall!

Had some fun distressing some custom made channel letters for a client, recently. Glad to know all that time spent doing tech theater came in handy. Thanks Charlie!

So, even though four color process printing has been around for AGES, I finally figured out a good way to make CMYK color separations for screenprinting in Photoshop. I’ll finally be able to make the kind of prints I’ve been wanting to make for years. And now, I feel like a total dumb ass, because the steps are so easy…oh well.

So, I’m totally obsessed with Mad Men, which if you know me personally, is no surprise. Been thinking of a cool print series to celebrate my favorite show, and finally figured out how. I’m also a fan of vintage baseball cards, particularly the 1949 Leaf set as demonstrated by the Jackie Robinson card pictured above. Thought it would be a nice tongue-in-cheek way to do my Mad Men print set in the style of said baseball cards.

The print series, which will cover most of the key characters from the show, will be hand silk screened on 16” x 20” paper, and fashioned in a way to look like a vintage baseball card. First up will be Jon Hamm, aka Don Draper, obviously. Following will be the characters of Roger Sterling, Pete Campbell, Joan Harris, Peggy Olson, Betty Draper/Francis, Bert Cooper and Sally Draper. Might even see a few supporting characters show up in the series, too.

Sad to see this is Mad Men’s final season, but at least I can watch the show over and over again, thanks to DVDs… So, I’m totally obsessed with Mad Men, which if you know me personally, is no surprise.
